The Art of Glamorous Camping

The tiny house is supported by two mature pine trees, the Treehouse at Moose Meadow is redefining glamorous camping or glamping. The treehouse was designed for those who enjoy camping as well as creature comforts, this handcrafted two-story treehouse is made with cedar, pine, maple, and hemlock. The wood cabin has 31 windows to maximize your experience of the natural surroundings and to let in plenty of natural sunlight. This magical New England treehouse vacation getaway features a living and dining area on the first floor with an expansive wrap-around deck.

Unparalleled Comfort Amidst Nature

During your vacation stay, you'll enjoy the view of the woods as you climb up the circular staircase wrapped around a maple tree. There is a second-story bedroom with a custom-made queen-sized bed which provides the ultimate comfort and warmth, while the balcony provides a high perch to take in the surrounding natural beauty and views. The new bathroom on the first-floor deck includes a custom sink made from a rock on the vacation property, a shower, and an incinerating toilet.

Your Cozy Retreat Awaits

The treehouse accommodates up to two people in the queen bedroom loft, plus one or two more on cots on the first floor. For more than two people, there is a charge of $20 per person per night that is added to the rate. The Treehouse at Moose Meadow is perhaps the only treehouse in Vermont that is fully licensed as a bed and breakfast by the State of Vermont, having passed rigorous regulations for structural integrity, fire safety, electrical, plumbing, water, and health requirements to be a public-use facility. The treehouse cabin was started by students of the Yestermorrow Design/Build School and completed by their instructor Eyrich Stauffer and his talented crew at Stauffer Woodworking.
