About HyggeHous

HyggeHous is a daily magazine for people who dream about cozy places: hand-crafted log homes, cabins in the woods, clever tiny houses, storybook cottages, off-grid builds and unforgettable getaways.

Hygge (pronounced “hoo-gah”) is the Danish idea of comfort, warmth and contentment — candlelight, a crackling fire, a good book and good company. We look for homes that capture that feeling, and we share the photos, floor plans and stories behind them.

What we cover

• Log homes, timber frames and the builders who make them
• Cabins, chalets and A-frames
• Tiny houses and small-space living
• Cottages, barn homes and treehouses
• Eco and off-grid homes
• Cozy getaways and remarkable homes for sale
