During your vacation stay, you can enjoy a short hike to the Fall Branch Falls waterfall.

Soak up the sounds of the creek as you sip your morning coffee on the porch. The tiny cabin building was completed in 2021, with 480 square feet of space, and 1 bedroom perfect for 1 to 2 people looking for some quiet time in the mountains. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. The Retreat has an updated bathroom with a large tile shower.

On those cooler nights, you can snuggle up by the indoor fireplace (propane) located in the main living space.

(The cabin is unable to get cable or satellite tv services, so DVD is your only option for tv.) This is a place to truly unplug. The cabin has very limited internet access. You'll want to note that the Retreat is not suitable for children or infants. Guests have full access to the cottage and patio. The vacation rental does not allow children, smoking, pets, or parties. The owners love sharing their space with others, but they do ask that you comply with the house rules. Doing so helps them to keep the Retreat pristine for future guests.

The tiny cabin is the closest cabin to the Fall Branch Falls waterfall (one of Blue Ridge's most popular trails) and borders the 300-mile Benton MacKaye Trail. The Retreat borders the Aska Adventure Area and the Rich Mountain Wilderness Area, making up 27,000 acres of untouched Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest. The area is well known for all things outdoors including hiking, mountain biking, and trout fishing. Charming Blue Ridge and Ellijay are just 25 minutes away. There are a few small restaurants only 10 minutes away from the small cottage. You'll need a car to get around.
