The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. The Retreat has an updated bathroom with a large tile shower.

On those cooler nights, you can snuggle up by the indoor fireplace (propane) located in the main living space. which is available for use from late November to April. Enjoy a fire on the outdoor patio, adjacent to the creek. Bring a DVD and watch a movie on the television in the bedroom. (The cabin is unable to get cable or satellite tv services, so DVD is your only option for tv.) This is a place to truly unplug. The cabin has very limited internet access. You'll want to note that the Retreat is not suitable for children or infants. Guests have full access to the cottage and patio. The vacation rental does not allow children, smoking, pets, or parties. The owners love sharing their space with others, but they do ask that you comply with the house rules. Doing so helps them to keep the Retreat pristine for future guests.
