During your vacation stay, you can enjoy a short hike to the Fall Branch Falls waterfall. Soak up the sounds of the creek as you sip your morning coffee on the porch. The tiny cabin building was completed in 2021, with 480 square feet of space, and 1 bedroom perfect for 1 to 2 people looking for some quiet time in the mountains. The cabin has a fully stocked kitchen with a full-size refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. The Retreat has an updated bathroom with a large tile shower. On those cooler nights, you can snuggle up by the indoor fireplace (propane) located in the main living space. which is available for use from late November to April. Enjoy a fire on the outdoor patio, adjacent to the creek. Bring a DVD and watch a movie on the television in the bedroom. (The cabin is unable to get cable or satellite tv services, so DVD is your only option for tv.) This is a place to truly unplug. The cabin has very limited internet access.

There are a few small restaurants only 10 minutes away from the small cottage. You'll need a car to get around. Cherry Log, Georgia lies just north of Ellijay along Hwy. 76, the Georgia Mountain Parkway. You'll find rural landscapes that make it a perfect location for escaping to a North Georgia mountain vacation.
