You'll be sure to love this beautiful Alpine retreat located in Ilhabela, Sao Paulo, Brazil. The newly built alpine chalet can accommodate up to 4 guests with 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, and 1 bath. This vacation home is located near the river with a sunbathing deck, waterfalls, and water slides. It has a cozy living room with a fireplace and a 50-inch Smart TV(tv channels, Netflix, Youtube, etc.), 2 bedrooms with a 32-inch Smart TV, and air conditioners. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a microwave and stove. The chalet provides fast Wifi and a 110V/220V power outlet in the bathroom. The living room has 2 roof windows where Toucans and Parrots can be observed regularly. The apartment is located on a tropical property, ideal for those who want to stay near the beaches of Ilhabela or to enjoy the pleasure in the middle of the Atlantic rainforest with views of the river with its waterfall and waterslides. Perfect for those who seek contact with nature and want to recharge.

Historic Attractions and Natural Pools

The vacation property was one of the island's biggest tourist attractions in the 1990s, and today it shares the former water park exclusively with guests. The river has 3 waterfalls, two waterfalls divide the river into two wells, in which the currents are barely noticeable and can therefore be used as a natural pool. The riverside has a spacious deck, ideal for sunbathing after swimming, and a large water slide for the more adventurous. The river divides the vacation property and you reach the other side via a bridge leading to nice walking trails in the Atlantic Forest. The first and shortest path leads to a natural pool under big rocks. The second path leads to another well with a waterfall and the third trail about 1.5 hours around the property, leads also to the top of the hill, where you can see the ocean and the city of Sao Sebastiao.

Fun Amenities and Activities

Other attractions on the vacation property are the other two natural pools with waterslides. One is small and flat and therefore well suited for children. The other is big and deep with a long waterslide. You will also find a roofed play area on the property with a pool table, table tennis, table soccer, and a BBQ. It also has an Amazon Echo device for listening to Music. The location is very central and easily accessible with paved roads from the ferry to the gate and inside the property, the road is concreted to the roofed parking lots.

Access and Safety Considerations

Guests have access to all attractions and areas of the property. Cars can be safely parked on the property. Some caution is advised when walking, because, over time, a few tree roots grew to the surface and thus increasing the risk of slipping and stumbling. Since the property is located in the beautiful nature of Ilhabela, many animal species can be found in this location. Beautiful and diverse birds (parrots, toucans, woodpeckers, etc.), amazing butterflies, and other animals and insects are part of the scenery.
