Liz's Lodge is a fabulously luxurious Scandinavian A-frame dwelling, set in a small copse within the secluded woodland village of Weybourne Forest. The cabin is furnished in an elegant, contemporary style with great attention to detail, and clever use of space, the owner has created a very relaxed and comfortable environment, in keeping with its lovely, tranquil setting.

The lodge has three bedrooms, one of which is downstairs, and two bathrooms. The stunning open-plan and light-filled living space has one glazed wall to take full advantage of the woodland scene outside. This is a superb place to socialize, as well as relax, and take in the view, just slide open the door and you can bring the outside in. On warm days you have a choice of two decked, glazed balconies, where you can enjoy some alfresco dining or just lie back, look at that great big Norfolk sky and listen to the birds. A little way down the hill is Weybourne Station, where you can take a ride back in time and catch the Poppy line steam train to either Holt or Sheringham. It's about a twenty-minute walk down to the main village where there is a well-stocked village store, and a good pub serving food. The Coasthopper bus passes through regularly all year round and stops at all the coastal villages from Kings Lynn to Cromer.

Liz's Lodge is the perfect place to stay if you like to keep fit as there are some pretty woodland trails to explore from right outside the door, the National Trust's Sheringham Park and Kelling Heath are close by, and the North Norfolk coastal path is a short drive (or two-mile walk) away. Only a short drive from Sheringham, Cromer, and the lovely Georgian market town of Holt, Liz's Lodge will appeal to all kinds of holidaymakers all year round.

Weybourne is a coastal village midway between Holt and Sheringham on the north Norfolk coast. It is on the route for the Holt to Sheringham, North Norfolk Railway where you can catch a steam train or vintage diesel train, or just watch the trains go by at Weybourne Station. There are several marked walks through Weybourne Woods and there is a popular walk down to the sea and along the coastal footpath to Sheringham. Being a coastal village the sea is close by. The beach is a beautiful place to sit, watch, and listen to the drawing in and rolling of the waves, particularly while the sun dips into the sea at the end of the day.
