Winter Conditions and Safety Precautions

Fortunately, Lake Tahoe can get a lot of snow in the winter months, making this location amazing for skiing and snowboarding, but if you travel in the winter months you'll want to have a plan in the event of a snowstorm. The county plows all of the roads, to include the neighborhood roads when it snows, but they only come around a few times a day. The owner also pays to have the driveway cleared after 4 inches of snow accumulation. You'll want to be mindful of the road conditions and plan your vehicle choice accordingly. You can message the owner or call if you need more plowing done. Also, the wood cabin has exterior security cameras in the front and rear of the cabin for everyone's safety and you'll want to let the owner know if the snow build-up is too high on the driveway so they can make a call to get it fixed.
