Experience the Lake Life in a Luxurious Tiny House by Whatcom Lake Cottages

Here's a fantastic luxury tiny house with so many beautiful features. This gorgeous tiny house design called the Salish is actually part of a new cottage development called Wildwood Cottages on Lake Whatcom in Washington, which is just 30 minutes north of Bellingham, Washington. This tiny house was on the market for $312,500 US, and then there's only a $127 monthly resort fee to pay after that. Some may consider that pretty steep for a tiny house, but the home features 399 square feet of space which is larger than most tiny houses on trailers. Since this tiny house is built on a foundation, it can be larger than a tiny house on wheels which would have to fit within the highway regulation guidelines. The resort used to be a campground with RV pads, and now it's turned into a great tiny house village with 90 tiny houses like this that are for sale The exterior of the tiny house is inviting like a lovely cabin in the woods with a modern flare. The dark grey board and batten siding with the wood trim is a very stylish combination, and the white framed windows provide a nice juxtaposition. There's also a deck off the front door of the home which gives some great outdoor space to enjoy.

Inside, this tiny house has everything needed for comfortable small house living. The living room features lots of space to relax in style on the full sized couch while enjoying the entertainment centre on the built-in industrial style shelves. All of the large windows also let in incredible amounts of light into the space as well which instantly brightens up the entire house. The kitchen area is open to the living room with an island on casters that can be used for a dining table or as extra counter space for preparing meals. It's so important to have multifunctional furniture like this in your tiny house to make use of the space well. They also implemented full sized appliances including a full sized stainless steel fridge and a countertop gas range. There even appears to be a dishwasher in the kitchen plan as well, making dishes a breeze. Stairs lead up to the full sized bedroom loft area which could be used as an extra bedroom or as an office or studio space. Near the back of the home is the full sized bedroom on the main floor which would probably be the main bedroom in the home. This room has enough space for a queen sized bed and room to walk around.

Then the bathroom is a nice, large standard sized bathroom with a large vanity with a sink and storage as well as a flush toilet and a large shower area with glass doors. This tiny house would make a great full-time residence if it's zoned for that, or it would be a wonderful cabin on the lake to use in the summertime or even in the wintertime for Christmas holidays perhaps. A tiny house like this one would make for a great accessory dwelling unit to use as a studio apartment to rent out to travellers or to people living in your town or city. Some cities are actually encouraging people to build these accessory dwellings on their properties to help with the housing crisis many cities are currently facing. Hopefully soon tiny houses on wheels will also be allowed to park in cities to provide additional housing for people. Enjoy the full photo tour of this awesome tiny house design and use it for some great design inspiration if you are building your own tiny house.
