Quality Construction and Customization Options

All of the Sand Creek Post & Beam frames are pre-assembled to ensure the perfect fit before they are disassembled for shipment. The result is a beautiful barn, extremely sturdy that will enhance your property and provide years of enjoyment. There are several sizes and styles, options and accessories to choose from. The Sand Creek Post & Beam big timber barn and outbuilding kits can be custom designed to create the barn of your dreams. You only need a foundation on which to build and the shingles you choose to complete your barn style house or outbuilding.

High-Quality Materials for Authentic Look

Everything is included in the barn house kit except for the foundation, the siding nails, and the shingles or metal roof. Sand Creek Post & Beam uses full dimension six inches by six-inch rough cut wood, both for the authentic, rustic look and for the additional strength. The result is a beautiful rich look inside and out. While other species of wood can be ordered for your barn style house, Ponderosa pine and Norway pine are the woods of choice. Ponderosa pine is the wood known for its toned honey hue and is used when the appearance is of primary importance. Norway pine is wood with a straight grain and even texture, with strength properties that are perfect for posts, beams and trusses. Both these woods are easy to work with and have been specially milled to their specifications.

Foundation Flexibility for Barn Structures

Sand Creek Post & Beam barn kits are typically designed for use with a concrete foundation. A slab concrete foundation with poured footings is the most popular choice of foundation. Because of the flexibility of post and beam barn construction, concrete slab, pier or concrete block foundations may all be used with these barn structures. As an option, a full or a partial basement can also be used with their barns.
