The Amish are known for their quality log cabin builds; they have a long reputation for knowing what they are doing when it comes to building some of our favorite log homes. They build beautiful, energy-efficient log cabins that can be located in the woods, by a river or lake or in a wide open field. The kits that the Amish Cabin Company build are fully assembled pre-built modular log homes and log cabin kits. Their deluxe log cabin is built in a custom facility on a Kentucky Amish farm; that is off-grid. If you want a larger custom made log cabin, they can accommodate you and build it on the site.

Durability and Quality Materials

The Amish take pride in using the finest log home materials. The log cabins they build are Amish quality with no nails used, just screws. By using screws in the log cabin build, they give additional durability and strength. Nails can sometimes warp or pull out, whereas screws don't. The log cabins and log homes are exposed post and beam, with timber frame construction that you will be able to enjoy for several years with your family and friends. With an Amish quality log home, you feel comfort in knowing you have a log home that will last. All of the log homes are inspected during their construction so that they meet national codes. You can take a look at some of the videos on their site to get a better idea of just how great these Amish log cabins are, and take a closer look at their building site and log home and log cabin building process.
