The Visionaries Behind Eastwind Hotel

The owners are a group of friends who have known each other through long-standing careers in the hospitality, fashion, and food and beverage industries. Together, they wanted to create a special place to bring together friends and families, make new memories and escape the city. Eastwind was born in 2018 when they found the property, a gem with sweeping views of the Windham Mountain in the Catskills. They all fell in love with the Catskills in different ways, but their goal and vision were the same, and that was to create a unique Scandinavian home away from the home getaway experience. Eastwind was remodeled and built through family efforts. Every single one of the owners contributed to making Eastwind special, from the building plans to pick the linens and hanging photos on the walls, to operating the hotel and bar. Family Fun at Vidbel Mountain Homestead

Vidbel Mountain Homestead is a five-generation farm in the Catskill Mountains. Owned by Guillaume Dufresnoy and Jenny Vidbel, the farm is dedicated to bringing families and animals together for the enjoyment of both. Liberty training, presentations, pony parties, petting farm, children's horsemanship lessons, hiking with animals are just some of the things to enjoy.
