The Not So Lonely Wanderer Tiny House A Sweet Tiny House With Great Features

Innovative Affordable Housing Solutions

To address the need for housing across Canada and the United States, tiny house builders like Jennifer McCarthy are creating a new wave of affordable housing for people everywhere. Jennifer started Teacup Tiny House with the intention to extend affordable and stylish living to people without having to sacrifice the comforts of a regular home. So she started up her tiny house building business in Lethbridge, Alberta and has been creating some pretty sweet homes ever since. Like the 300 square foot Not So Lonely Wanderer that measures 24 feet long and 8 feet wide. The tiny house is able to sleep 2 people comfortably which would be great for a couple or just one person. There are so many wonderful reasons to love this home, but one of the best features has to be the Chef's kitchen with a full sized fridge and stove with an oven. It's not too often that you find full sized appliances in tiny houses on wheels, so it's really cool to see that they are adding them in this tiny house design. Usually, you'll see the apartment sized fridges and stoves which work just fine, but for those who really love to cook, having the full-sized option is so much better. The tiny house features a galley style kitchen with good counter space and also some cabinet space as well. The kitchen sink is under the staircase which also has storage in it too, and there's a cute little window above to let some light into this otherwise fairly dark area of the home.

Spacious Living and Functional Design

The main living area is quite open and spacious with enough space to fit a small sectional sofa and a TV mounted on the wall above. The windows in the living space are also very nice, allowing light to enter in and they also make the tiny house space feel more spacious as well. A little eating counter is close by and is an extension of the kitchen countertop made out of some live edge wood. Just pull up a stool and use it as a workspace or a dining space. Upstairs, there is a loft with enough space for a proper bed as well as a window and built-in shelving for storage. The bedroom isn't too big, but just big enough for a double or a queen sized bed. The bathroom is very accessible on the main level and features a 4-foot walk-in shower as well as a sink and toilet. They also included an all in one washer and dryer combo unit in the kitchen area just before the bathroom so the owners can easily do laundry without having to go to a laundry mat.

Functional Floor Plan and Customization Options

The floor plan is super functional and well thought out making it a very comfortable space. Plus, there's also the option of adding some additional storage space on the exterior of the tiny house as well. If any alterations to the plan need to be made, you can also discuss them with Jennifer, and she'll do her best to make them happen. Teacup Tiny Houses provides beautiful and functional designs so people can enjoy their small spaces to the maximum proving that you don't have to give it all up to live tiny. For those purchasing from the United States, buying a tiny house from Canada might be a good option because you'll save a lot of money that way. The Not So Lonely Wanderer tiny house starts at around $76,100 US which is pretty affordable, plus, they can make arrangements to deliver it to you anywhere in Canada or the United States. If you love this tiny house, maybe you'll even consider having one of your own.
