The charming vacation rental sits behind the owner's main house and includes shared access to a courtyard, a barbecue grill, and outdoor seating.

The cute tiny house design was originally built as a guest house for family and friends and later used as an occasional home office, the owner's decided to open it up to travelers who want to visit Seattle and in particular their community of Ballard. The tiny house is 363 square feet and contains a sleeping loft that is accessed by a ship style ladder. Guests to the tiny house vacation rental access the tiny house through a separate gate at the end of the driveway, which opens into the courtyard. The tiny house is quiet and comfortable complete with a kitchen, fridge, living area, and a bathroom. The bedroom has a queen-sized bed.

Private Outdoor Living Space and Unique Library

Guests have access to their own private tiny house, with an outdoor living space with a courtyard, gas barbecue grill and outdoor seating. The owner's have combined their love of lofts with their love of books. For guests of the tiny house they offer a free little library of books. If a book catches your eye you can keep it. The tiny library includes travel guides and maps of the area that may come in handy. After you use the maps and travel guides you'll want to leave them at the tiny house for others to use. The tiny house kitchen is stocked with pots and pans and cooking essentials. They offer their guests coffee, tea, bottled water, and breakfast cereals. The tiny house contains a few games for any gamers out there. There is chess, backgammon, and cards available. The tiny house has a 19-gallon water heater. The hot water for showers will last about 7 to 10 minutes. If it runs out, it refills after about 10 to 20 minutes.

They have easy access to the Metro bus just a block away from the tiny house. A 15 to 20-minute ride by car or bus puts you downtown near the Washington State ferries, the Space Needle, Pike's market, and Seattle Center. The tiny house has indoor and outdoor access through French doors which open to the outside garden.
