Features of the Creekside Log Cabin

The Creekside log cabin is one of the company's many beautiful log home designs. This is a beautiful recreational cabin with a kitchen area that has enough room for cooking, as well as a dining area to enjoy meals with family and friends, an indoor bathroom and two separate bedrooms big enough to fit a queen bed and a twin bed, or set of bunk beds. It also features a loft as well as a cathedral ceiling for added head space. This is a 14 foot by 26 foot, 537 square foot log cabin and can be purchased in its entirety for around $37,000 for the fully complete log cabin. Since this cabin is in the Recreational Series of log cabins from Coventry Log Homes, it's not certain whether it would pass building codes to be a full-time residence. Although with a few modifications it could be made to meet all building codes so that it could be utilized as a residential home for a bit more money. On the other hand, if you're on a tighter budget and you have some building experience or would like to learn how to build one, you can purchase all of the logs required to build this log cabin for around $22,000.

Commitment to Eco-Friendliness

Another great thing about Coventry Log Homes is their commitment to going green and using eco-friendly practices. Coventry Log Homes' log home packages meet all current energy codes, and all of their standard packages can also be created to meet Energy Star requirements. They also support responsible eco-friendly efforts to sustain renewable resources. Plus, log cabins are made from all-natural products that don't contain any harmful toxins. The company also uses kilns which use renewable energy to dry their logs. The company pre-cuts and numbers the logs to cut down on job site waste as well. They also recycle all excess wood used in manufacturing by creating shavings for local farmers, heating their buildings with log ends and even give away wood to residents to heat their homes. Going green means a lot to most people these days, so if you're looking for a log cabin that's not only beautiful but built with the environment in mind, Coventry Log Homes is a great log builder to choose. Just look through their incredible floor plans on their website and see for yourself how lovely their designs are.
