The Tamarisk wood cabin is a good size for up to four people or a small family. The cozy cabin has bright, fresh decor, with a luxurious bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and stunning sea and countryside views from the two bedrooms. The wood cabin retreat is just a 2-minute drive from the picturesque Crackington Haven beach and only 8 miles from the award-winning lovely seaside town of Bude.
The cozy retreat is based on a small, working cohousing farm in rural North Cornwall, making it the perfect place to relax, take in the natural views and wildlife and even a bit of adventure. There is another cabin building on site, with a shared lawn area to the front of the wood cabin and parking too. As an additional alternative, you can book out more than one wood cabin at a time with a 20 percent discount to the total price (perfect for a vacation with family and/or friends). In total, the scenic farm is around 30 acres, with ponies, cows, sheep, pigs, chickens, and ducks. You can feel free to ask if either you or the kids would like to join in on the animal rounds, collect some fresh chicken eggs in the morning or just have a small guided tour of the working farm.
Inside the wood cabin, you will find a good-sized, luxurious bathroom suite, with a large waterfall shower, modern freestanding bathtub, and underfloor heating. The living space in the cozy cabin building is an open plan, with a comfy sofa, a table with seating for 4 and a small but well-equipped kitchen, with a fridge/freezer, oven, kettle, toaster, grill, and four ring hob. There are two bedrooms in the wood cabin, each with electric heating. One of the bedrooms has a comfy king-sized bed, wardrobe and scenic views across the countryside towards the sea. The other bedroom has full-sized single bunk beds and lovely countryside views.
Outside the cabin retreat, you can sit on your private decking area, gaze out across the fields or take in the large expanse of starry skies at night. There is also a brand new private, Jacuzzi hot tub set into the deck, perfect in the summer months, you will also get gorgeous sea views as you soak. For an extra touch of luxury, you can also book a facial treatment or pampering massage to leave you feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The owner is a qualified massage therapist.
