The eco-house is available all year long, and if you stay during the winter in Golden Bay, this eco-house catches all the afternoon sun, stores it, and the home is hot. This eco vacation home is the perfect couples retreat with mountain, estuary and sea views, modern conveniences, bath underneath the stars, Craftsman's attention to detail, extremely energy efficient, comfortably sleeps two, warm all year round, and is the only accommodation at the northern end of Abel Tasman National Park. The eco-house vacation rental has no television but you'll be entertained all the same with beautiful sunsets over the water in the winter and the mountains in summer, walk to Wainui Falls through the lush original forest and over a swing bridge, go birdwatching or swimming with clear waters around Wainui Bay are ideal, kitesurfing or paddleboarding in this awesome spot with northwesterly winds, flat water in the estuary with high tide and waves out on the beach.

The eco-house sleeps up to two people with electricity, hot and cold running water, radio and CD player, a fully equipped kitchen with tea, coffee/plunger, sugar, milk powder, a king-sized bed or two single beds, all of your linen and bedding provided, covered parking and underfloor heating.

The Little Greenie eco-house is close to restaurants and cafes which are in Pohara, just a 15-minute drive back toward Takaka, where there is also a mini supermarket that has a range of food and wine. The closest supermarket is located in Takaka, about 25 km from the eco place. The eco-house doesn't have internet facilities, but there is a 3G reception in the area if you bring your own device.
