The vacation hideaway is secluded on 65 wooded acres, looking scenic views of the Ventana Wilderness and the Santa Lucia Highlands. Just a short drive away from the cabin you'll find wine tasting, restaurants, Carmel Beach, hiking, Monterey and the Big Sur Coastline. You'll love the cabin loft's natural light, the view from the outdoor deck, the coziness of small house living and a private hiking trail at your doorstep.

Comfort and Amenities

The Hideaway is a tiny off-grid cabin, 144 square foot footprint, with a kitchen, lounge space, loft bedroom with a comfortable queen bed, and an outdoor deck to sit on and enjoy the view. You'll enjoy the serene sounds of nature, making this space great for a quiet weekend away from the city, a beautiful spot from which to explore Carmel Valley, Big Sur and Monterey, or as a peaceful artist retreat. The cozy cabin retreat has an efficient kitchen which is perfect for preparing simple meals during your stay. The wood cabin has cooking utensils, pots and pans, dishes, a refrigerator, a gas stove, and some simple ingredients such as coconut oil, olive oil, vinegar, spices, and more. The cabin building has a french press, tea, coffee, milk, almond milk, and simple breakfast items that are also provided to help make your wake up enjoyable. You'll want to consider stopping for groceries before your arrival at the wood cabin, especially if you're staying for only one night.

Private Bathhouse and Cabin Features

The tiny cabin building has a private bathhouse with a rain shower and a stunning view. The tiny cabin has a Low-Power System that does not allow for the use of curling irons or hair dryers. The cozy cabin building has linens that are provided, as well as the basic amenities. There is a gas heater that keeps the wood cabin toasty warm in the winter, and fans which are provided in the warmer summer months. The tiny house has no air conditioning, but there is usually a cool breeze at night to help keep the tiny cabin comfortable. There is a binder inside the cozy cabin that explains important details about the cabin, as well as dining and activity recommendations in the area.

Explore the Surroundings

During your vacation stay, you can take a walk up the hill from the wood cabin and experience the owner's farm, where you can meet sheep, chickens, goats, dogs, and cat, and check out the organic garden and orchard. The owners also have 7 Honey Bee Hives on the vacation property, so you'll want to be sure and bring your medication or Epipen in case of allergies. Guests will enjoy the entire cabin building and attached bathhouse to themselves, as well as the surrounding 5-acre landscape, to include a hiking trail and lookout spots.
