Happy Twogether Steel Shipping Container House

The Happy Twogether steel shipping container home is beautiful inside and out. The tiny house is made from two 20 foot repurposed steel shipping containers and provides a more traditional house layout than the typical tiny house on wheels. The steel shipping container tiny house was built by Custom Container Living located in Archie, Missouri. The main floor of the tiny house has a bedroom and living room which are in one steel container while the main entryway, the kitchen, and bathroom are in the other shipping container. An archway between the two connects the containers.

There are tile floors in the entryway and the bathroom, and bamboo flooring throughout the rest of the tiny house. The Happy Twogether has tongue-and-groove walls throughout the main part of the tiny house and corrugated metal in the bathroom. The custom kitchen cabinets in the tiny house are made from birch and stained a beautiful shade of green and blue, which adds a lot of color to contrast with the natural pine walls. The Happy Twogether is heated and cooled with a Mitsubishi Hyper heat system and has spray foam insulation in both the walls and ceiling. The base price for this shipping container model is $58,900.
