This log cabin building was built in autumn 2015 in its grounds and completely private, overlooking the heathland where horses and cattle roam freely for 6 months of the year. The newly built cabin building is next to farmland with a fishing lake nearby. This location is great for walks and enjoying the outdoors. Renting the log cabin building is based on two guests sharing, any additional guest pays a complimentary fee.

Comfort and Amenities

The log cabin building is spacious, cozy and comfortable. The wood cabin has a sofa in the lounge that also converts to a double bed, so up to 6 people can comfortably stay. The cabin building sits in an exclusive paddock of one acre surrounded by woods, field, and heathland. The surrounding area is a haven for wildlife. Guests to the wood cabin can enjoy the grounds where there are swings, a trampoline, and can also enjoy cooking and eating outdoors. There is also a fishing lake on the adjacent farm.

Location and Accessibility

The log cabin building is situated 500 yards up a lane from the main road. The entrance to the lane is adjacent to the car park of the local pub The Cross Keys. The log cabin building has its entrance and car parking area for up to 4 cars. This wood cabin is a complete rural retreat for guests who want to get away and experience life in the countryside. This location is fantastic for nature and walking as it is surrounded by National Trust land. You'll enjoy the starry skies on clear nights, as there is no light pollution. There is a fishing lake is available on the adjacent farm.

Fully Equipped Kitchen

The cabin building is fully equipped for all your needs. The cabin building has a kitchen complete with a fridge/freezer, hob, combination microwave oven, toaster, and an electric kettle. The cozy wood cabin has full sets of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils and glasses that are provided to cover all your needs. Breakfast is inclusive. The owners provide eggs from their free-range chickens, along with cereals, milk, coffee, tea, butter, jam, honey for guests to enjoy at their convenience.

A Unique Rural Experience

The location of this cabin building is very unique. It's a rural retreat, with no neighbors except for the horses, cows, deer, and squirrels. The location is great for seeing wildlife and being so close to nature. The wood cabin location is completely secluded with a beautiful view of the grounds. This is a great escape from the city. The Cross Keys pub is within walking distance of the log cabin and offers good food. There is also a good selection of country pubs that are nearby. There are excellent pubs, and restaurants in the surrounding towns as well as nightlife and theaters. There are wonderful beaches in Bournemouth and Poole. Close by, you can also visit Potterns Park in Verwood and Moors Valley Country Park, both great for outdoor activities with family and friends.
