You try out a small house living in this tiny farmhouse. Nestled on over 10 acres of retired farmland, the Egret is one of several unique tiny spaces at Tiny Haven. The tiny house is located just a mile from the C&O Canal, AT, and Maryland Heights, this is a hiker's paradise. Just a short drive to Harpers Ferry, wineries, and breweries. The Egret features a full-size kitchen, bathroom, lofted bed, living area, covered porch, and private fire pit. There is a full kitchen is where you can cook your meals with the two portable induction hot plates, convection toaster oven, microwave, and small toaster. The kitchen has a full-size fridge with ample freezer, pots and pans, plates, bowls, utensils, coffee maker and pour-over, and other cookware.

Comfortable Living Spaces

The tiny house has a lofted bedroom with a queen-size memory foam bed with an awning window for fresh air. There is an adjustable fan with a remote is also provided for airflow. There is a living room area where you can lounge and eat while sitting on the small loveseat. Tray tables are provided for eating indoors, and outdoor seating is available on the covered porch when the weather is nice. There is a bathroom where you can shower with fresh towels perfect after your hiking adventures. Easy to use a composting toilet that naturally separates the urine from the solids. The Egret has heat and air conditioning, with a mini-split system for either heat or AC. A fan is also in the tiny home. In the winter, it is recommended you bring slippers, as the floors in any tiny on wheels or RV can be on the cooler side.

Outdoor Amenities and Tranquility

The tiny house has an outside area with a covered porch and a fire in the metal fire pit (please bring your firewood). Cook a great meal on the large propane grill. This tiny haven is a great place to unplug from the world and reconnect with each other and nature. There is no Wifi on site and the cell signal is poor. You should still be able to make and receive phone calls and texts, but hotspots and data are hit or miss. This is not the space to work remotely if you need internet. You have the entire tiny house to yourself. There are other tiny houses and guests at this location. It is most of the time very quiet, but you may hear people talking or playing music in the distance.

Tiny Haven is near many outdoor activities, including hiking, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, and the Potomac River. The following are some items you may want to bring with you include firewood, lighter or matches, a hat, sunglasses, bug spray, sunscreen, slippers in the winter, cooking oil spices, coffee, and tea. The tiny house is only one mile away from the Maryland Heights hiking trail.
