The Cadwollens Treehouse located in Powys, United Kingdom is great couples retreat with a king-sized bed on the mezzanine level and plenty of details that you'll be sure to love. You’ve never bathed in such style, with a copper bath with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a hot tub deck too. This is a space of unique shape and style, hanging in the woods surrounded by nothing but the fields and hills of Powys. Cadwollens Treehouse invites you to live indoors and out at the same time, with a copper tub sitting in front of magnificent views through huge windows that stretch right up to the mezzanine double bedroom.
If indoor bathing isn’t enough, wander out to the hot tub on its extended deck and soak under clear night skies or the strings of fairy lights. There’s even an outdoor shower that makes just washing an exciting adventure. For all the sophisticated waterworks, the treehouse has a rustic and relaxing feel to the decor and its surroundings. There’s a comfy sofa and a fully equipped kitchen in the spacious living area, as well as two hammocks to choose from, one in the treehouse and one slung underneath, near your private firepit.
With all the places to lie down, you might be forgiven for never getting up, but beauty and adventure await in the Welsh countryside. The Elan Valley with its spectacular dam and miles of excellent hiking is nearby and the treehouse itself sits in a 900-acre SSSI. Climbing the big hill won’t take too long and gives you great views of everything around you. Closer to home, you can arrange to meet the lambs in season or just watch the red kites wheeling overhead. You’re about six miles from the nearest village and shop, so there’s always the option of stocking up, checking in, and just sinking into the perfect seclusion.
The route from the car park to the treehouse crosses rough terrain and takes 7 minutes, so is not easily accessible for all. It is advisable to wear suitable footwear and please beware of the sheep. Please note that you will want to bring torches, wellies, rainproof jackets, and walking boots. Even though the king-size bed is on a mezzanine level, you will still be able to walk around up there. The treehouse has a mobile phone signal and 4G, the water supply is a borehole, there is one king-size bed on the mezzanine level.
Cook in the fully equipped kitchen with an electric hob and oven, fridge, kettle, toaster, firepit, washing, indoor walk-in shower, flushing toilet, freestanding copper bath in main living space, outdoor shower on deck, and bathroom toiletries provided.
