This unique 1950s grain silo was converted over a year into this very cool vacation rental. Owned by a farmer in St. Ignatius and transported to its current location. It's a quiet location next to Blaine creek, a wildlife haven. The grain bin lies in the beautiful valley east of Kalispell at the base of the Swan Mountain Range.

You will be impressed by the uniqueness of the interior style, and never feel like you are staying in a grain bin.

The owner had a vision of how it would turn out and the vision came true. Breathtaking sunrises and sunsets can be seen from this location. Your home away from home is conveniently located between all the major attractions that the area has to offer. Minutes to Bigfork, a small eclectic town at the north end of Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park with its outstanding vistas. The towns of Whitefish and Kalispell, with their many shops and restaurants, are also nearby. As the silo home is located in Montana, the owner rent bears spray for an additional fee. Inflatable Paddleboards are also available at an additional fee. Bring a license plate sign it and date it the owner will place it in the rafters, and you will receive a homemade local gift.

The vacation rental is just 5 minutes to Woody's gas station and restaurant. Springtime in the area can be rainy and it is recommended that you have an all-wheel drive or a four-wheel drive vehicle. The drive to the silo is a dirt lane with grass in the middle and on the sides. Please drive on the grass. The owner has an ATV for your use if it's very muddy to get you back and forth and you can park at the owner's home. It's Montana and it is always an adventure at the farm.

Kalispell and its surrounding area are one of the best parts of Montana and it places you right between gorgeous Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park.

You’re also close to other beautiful places like Swan Lake and Hungry Horse Dam. Because Kalispell is in such a great location surrounded by some of the nation’s most beautiful wilderness, you'll find plenty of things to see and do. Flathead National Forest is just one place to visit with lots of hiking trails and beautiful views, plus the crowds won’t be nearly as big as they are in Glacier National Park.
