The log house boasts a full kitchen, vaulted ceilings, hardwood flooring and cozy wood-burning stove with a sauna for those cold Alaskan nights. You might even get catch the Northern Lights outside your window if you are lucky.
The log house Alaskan retreat is approximately 1,200 square feet with a large open floor plan and an oversized loft bedroom.
The town is just a small drive away. You might even watch the northern lights in the sky above you from the large covered porch outside. The sleeping arrangements in the cabin building includes one queen-sized bed, two twin-sized beds, and one pull out sofa. This cabin building is an Alaskan dream, just a short one hour drive to Chena Hot Springs resorts. Some of the wood cabin details include the loft with a queen-sized bed with a sitting and desk area. The cabin building has pull out twin sized beds that can also be set up with additional bedding provided. There is also a full-size click clack bed available.
The main level of the log house is wide open and features a dining area, living room, and extra space.
There is a full bath with a shower, sink and running hot water. The toilet in the cabin is in the bathroom inside, but there is also an outhouse available if you'd like the full Alaskan experience. You'll be able to access the whole cabin building and surrounding deck during your vacation stay. The log house is heated by fuel which is the most common type of heating source that is used in this area and there is also a 500-gallon water tank that all the water comes from. The plumbing in the wood cabin includes a composting toilet.
The cozy cabin building is located in a secluded forest that is conveniently located to be close to town but is still considered to be a private getaway.
