For decades, Flesherton has been known as the hub for arts, culture, and food in southern Grey. It is also a designated walking village, a great place to stroll off to start a hike. The top ten things to do in the area include hiking Old Baldy, exploring the Feversham Gorge, paddling the Beaver River, checking out the local waterfalls, spending the day on Lake Eugenia, caving at Duncan Caves, traveling the scenic routes, attending local events and festivals, visiting local shops, and discovering Flesherton Hills. There are also amenities including the Eugenia Emporium and Top of the Rock, a convenience store that sells food, water, firewood, and propane and has an LCBO and Beer Store outlet. This log cottage is close to Blue Mountain, Collingwood, and the beautiful Beaver Valley. Furthermore, it has close access to the Bruce Trail and Hogg's Falls, Eugenia Falls, and others.
Lake Eugenia is renowned for excellent boating, fishing, and swimming.
Being on the Niagara Escarpment, it is located in a cycling paradise, with rolling hills, quiet roads, and lots of off-road trails. Hikers have hundreds of kilometers of trails at our doorstep, and in the winter, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and alpine sports are plentiful. There is a parking space for more than 10 cars on the premises. This is a private secluded vacation property.
The Blue Mountains are located just two hours northwest of Toronto and have everything you could want in a vacation destination.
With great dining, excellent spas, and incredible adventure activities, a visit to the Blue Mountains is like going on vacation without having to leave the country. One of the coolest things to do in Blue Mountain is to take the Scenic Caves Eco Adventure. This tour starts with a stunning walk over Southern Ontario’s longest suspension bridge. It’s a thrilling walk as you span 420 feet from high above Georgian Bay. It offers the best views around. It is then on to the high ropes where you narrow wooden planks set high above the treetops. It’s a thrill followed by a tour of the historic caves. This natural wonder took millions of years to form and was an important historic village to the Petun First Nation’s people. After hiking through these beautiful caves, it ends with a 1,000-foot-long zip line with a 150-meter drop.
