A Functional and Inviting Interior

The log house has a great kitchen with a JennAir stove and ample storage. Radiant heat on the main floor and main bedroom. The main level has a dining room, 2 bedrooms, and a mud room. Upstairs you'll find the bonus room loft and master suite. Enjoy your massive covered deck to enjoy year-round with fruit trees and plenty of room to roam in the yard. There are several benefits to living and owning a log home to include the following.

Health Benefits of Log Homes

Log Homes are Healthy. A log home's all-natural components mean you won't suffer off-gassing as can happen with manmade building materials. And when coupled with low-VOC (volatile organic compounds) stains and regular HVAC maintenance, you can create a healthier indoor environment for you and your family.

Environmental Impact of Log Homes

Log Homes are Good for the Environment. Though you'll hear some people argue that log homes destroy the forests, nothing is further from the truth. Many log home builders use standing dead timbers (trees that were killed while standing, either by insects or by fire), which, when felled, improves the health of the forest and reduces the wildfire threat. Log house companies that use live trees practice reforestation, and, unlike planned 2-by-4s, the milling process for log homes reduces construction waste and minimizes the carbon footprint in the process. Plus, many log manufacturers recycle the waste they do create into mulch or even biofuel to heat their mills.

Diverse Design Options

Log House Design is Versatile. Whether your style is a cozy classic log cabin or a modern mountain chalet featuring contemporary architectural design and a mix of building materials, log house construction can be anything you want it to be.

Open Concept Living

Open Concept is Standard. In an age where everyone wants an open-concept floor plan design, log home designs have had them from the start. As you peruse log home providers' plans, you'll see that your choices are as plentiful as they are functional.

Energy Efficiency of Log Homes

Energy Efficient. When a log house is properly built, it can meet or exceed today's strict energy codes. R-value, combined with the thermal mass of a log wall, a tight sealant system, and high-quality roof insulation, windows, and doors will increase comfort while decreasing your energy consumption. Log homes are also known for their thermal mass which means they stay cooler in the warmer summer months and warmer in the winter months.

Creating Lasting Memories

Log Homes for Treasured Memories. When you buy a log home as a recreational property it's the perfect place to bring the family together, a place where you can make memories to last a lifetime.
