The New Lakeside Log Home is a log home design with a contemporary take on traditional log cabin building.
Beautifully designed and built by the log builders at Town+Country Cedar Homes, the log home is perfectly integrated into the gorgeous scenery with plenty of outdoor living space thanks to the expansive wrap-around deck. The stunning log cabin is large enough to accommodate a family full-time or to be a great cabin to share with family and friends over the holidays. The log home is a total of 2,584 square feet with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms spread between two levels. Shop Tiny Homes It's perfectly nestled in the trees which allow for greenery to be seen through each window, and then the front of the home has the most incredible views of the lake. The angles used in the design of this home are gorgeous and sleek providing a lot of architectural interest overall. They used a mixture of cedar wood and grey metal for a very contemporary look and kept the railings on the deck very contemporary as well which looks great and also allows for clearer views of the lake from the deck. There's also a side entrance into the home as well through a great awning crafted from timbers. Inside, the home features regular drywall for the walls which makes the interior modern and clean. The windows provide a lot of visual interest and frame the views of the property perfectly while letting in ample light. Plus, those soaring high ceilings offer up the sense of more space then there actually is, and the white walls also create the illusion of more space as well.
The living room is the perfect place to sit and watch TV or have a good conversation with friends.
They are able to fit a nice comfortable sectional couch in the living room with a large coffee table as well. There's also a lovely fireplace with chairs set up beside it for some warmth and ambience. Built-in shelving is the perfect place to put books and to display art and items, and they also incorporated some lovely log inserts to bring the natural wood into the design. Then, by living room area, just off to the side is the dining area with a long table fitting several chairs at it. The dining room overlooks the deck, and the water just steps away from the cabin with a door leading out to the deck. Behind the living room is a log crafted partition wall that leads to the kitchen area with an island to separate yet connect the two spaces, plus provide some additional storage. The kitchen is so well designed with a large double door fridge and a large oven and stove as well as a bar countertop area with seating. They did a mix of closed-door cabinets and open shelving as well for a bit of contrast.
The upper level hosts the bedrooms and with one bedroom having an ensuite bathroom attached to it.
The bathroom features high gloss, bright red cabinets which really add a pop of colour to this otherwise neutral home. The bedroom is a cozy haven perfect for sleeping and relaxing. In the hallway, there is a huge cabinet for storage, and then there is also a laundry room upstairs as well. The railings in the home are also made from logs mixed with steel wires for a natural yet contemporary look.
