The owners have lived in their home for 32 years, the cabin is located on their wooded property, approximately 70 feet from the house, and comfortably sleeps four guests with 1 back bedroom and 1 overhead loft space. The cabin is 720 square feet including an overhead loft space. The cabin is fully self-sufficient including a front porch, small kitchen, common area, bathroom with shower, private back bedroom, and overhead loft (12 feet by 12 feet by 3.5 feet at peak) that is accessed by a ladder. The cabin is located 70 feet from the owner's home and runs alongside the wood line. You will use a key for access and keep this with you for the duration of your vacation stay. There is dedicated parking on the property.
There are several activities to enjoy in the area including the Perry Fairgrounds 20 miles away, Bluebird Body Company 3 miles, Frito Lay 25 miles, and the Warner Robins Air Force Base 38 miles away. The cabin is located 8 miles West of I-75 and 1/2 mile off Highway 49. The Cabin is located on a one-mile-long dirt road with seven other homes. Mossy Creek runs adjacent to the vacation property on the East side and there are many wooded acres of oaks and pine trees. It's truly a tranquil experience. The city is also home to Fort Valley State University and the American Camellia Society. Each spring, beautiful peach blossoms blanket the countryside. The popular tourist attraction, Lane Southern Orchards, operates a sprawling peach packing and retail facility just a short drive from the center of town. Downtown is vibrant with shops and restaurants.
