Be prepared to fall in love with a small house living in this cozy and secluded tiny cabin building on a 10-acre property in Ione, California, United States. The tiny house on wheels can accommodate up to 2 guests with one bedroom and one bathroom. During your vacation stay, you'll have the entire tiny house to yourself. The tiny house sits on a secluded, 10-acre retreat style property with a pond and a pool. The tiny house vacation retreat has a king-sized bed, a full kitchen and bathroom, an outdoor gas fireplace, and a soaking tub. There are plenty of benefits to this tiny house vacation to include the beauty of the ranch, the coziness of the tiny house and a place to truly get away from it all. You can enjoy your coffee on the deck, drink wine, watch Netflix, daydream, write, and dogs will love it here. The tiny house is available currently although the owners are placing a minimum of 24 hours between bookings to allow for thorough disinfection.
The property currently has 4 baby goats with 5 more mommas set to give birth over the next few weeks. Yes, you can pet the goats, and the owners are setting up a schedule to accommodate guests to do this and still keep social distancing in place. The tiny house vacation rental is completely separate from the main house. The property is a 10-acre ranchette with a pond, pool, walking trails, gazebo, and firepits. The tiny house retreat is at the end of a dead-end road and the back of the property borders on 440 acres of county-owned pasture land. All of the roads to get to the tiny house retreat are paved.
The property has 2 to 5 horses, house dogs, and barn cats. The tiny house is located within the fenced area where the horses roam. You might wake up and find the horses are right by the front window or you might not even see them during your stay. If you'd like to feed and/or pet the horses just let the owners know. Other occasional wildlife you might see during your vacation stay includes deer, cranes, ducks, pheasants, geese, wild turkeys, otters, and muskrats. Cranes and ducks are more common, while wild turkeys, geese, and pheasants are seasonal. You will occasionally hear the coyotes off in the distance during the night.
The property has a two-acre pond. Many people fish all day, the owners just ask that you catch and release and to please bring along your fishing equipment if you want to fish. This is a great property for kids to roam and experience semi ranch life. There is however a lot of water on the property, with the pond being about 2 acres and there is a pool too. The owners trust you know your children and can properly discern if this is the right vacation spot for them. Over the years they have had tons of kids stay and enjoy. They allow kids 12 and older.
