The private room in this cozy farmhouse can accommodate up to 2 guests with one bedroom, and two shared bathrooms. This lovely suite is tiny, cozy, and functional, with the Silhouette Room being a pocket room with plenty of charm. The bed in the room is super comfy and just a bit smaller than a full-sized bed. This cozy vacation rental is a fully restored and uniquely decorated 1870s farmhouse that will delight you with its wonderful decor.

The bedrooms in this fully renovated 1870s farmhouse are thematically decorated, each bedroom with a different style and motif.

Three rooms are available for rental to include the tiny Silhouette Room, the Green Room, and the War Room. Each bedroom can sleep up to two people, and together can host a group of six, depending on whether the other rooms are not already booked. The rooms are filled with antiques and curiosities, with the whole home design having a unique look and feel. Outside, the farmhouse sits on 5 rural acres of land that go from flat, to heading up the mountain onto a meadow that is behind the house. Once outside you can follow the maintained trails to the top of the vacation property and enjoy the lovely view, especially during sunset. There is also a huge fieldstone fire-pit for outdoor fires and a small pond on the property with surrounding benches for frog and salamander spotting.

The vacation property has a wonderful 6-year-old German Shepherd, who will greet you with the standard German Shepherd salute, to include a little bit of barking when you arrive, but will settle down after a few moments, so if you don't like dogs, this may not be the vacation rental for you.

The biggest supermarket in the area is located in Margaretville, which is only 10 minutes away. The owner will provide you with both a local food guide and local outdoor guide and can point you in the right direction for the best activities and restaurants in the area.

The farmhouse is located in the Denver-Vega Valley which is in the Township of historic Roxbury, New York in Delaware County.

The farmhouse is on a County road that comes to a dead-end less than 3 miles past the farmhouse, so there are not many cars that drive by in front of the property. This location is named one of the top five most scenic valleys in the Catskills, with the Denver-Vega Valley being just 15 minutes away from two local ski centers to include the Belleayre Mountain in Highmount, New York and Plattekill Mountain in Roxbury, New York. If you enjoy winter sports, you'll be happy to know that the farmhouse is centrally located between the two. Hunter and Windham Ski Mountains are about 45 minutes away as well. If you are not really a winter sports enthusiast but still wanna have some fun, you can go sledding down the hill in the back meadow.
