Nearby the treehouse is an enclosed outdoor hot shower/toilet that overlooks the river below and the Kaimai Ranges.

Parking for the treehouse is under a large tree beside the driveway and the cabin building is a short walk away, so the owners ask that you do not drive across the lawn to park close to the treehouse. There is a shared enclosed outdoor bathroom may be shared with other guests. The treehouse is situated 10 kilometers south of Katikati or 25 minutes from Tauranga.
