A 4-wheel drive is highly recommended in snowy months. The last section of the driveway is slightly steep and ices up, 2wd will not make it up when leaving the cabin, 2wd cars can park before the hill and walk down to the cabin, but you'll want to be aware it will be icy/snowy. The driveway is plowed in snowy months and the cleaner shovels the front steps/access to the front door.
