With testing conducted by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Research Center showed that the spray-applied polyurethane foam insulation between wood stud wall panels increased the rack and shear strength from two to three times when compared with standard stick-built components with fiberglass insulation when sprayed onto oriented strand board (OSB). This makes the tiny house design very strong and easy to heat and cool. They build tiny homes on wheels from 16 feet to 32 feet long on a bumper pull trailer and up to 42 feet long on a gooseneck trailer.
