Peek Inside This Riverfront Log Cabin with Private Deck

Take a look inside the Chateau McClelland vacation rental located in Leavenworth, Washington.
This classic mountain lodge boasts a historic design but has modern features including free WiFi, a DVD player, and even Netflix streaming to while away the winter afternoons. This home sits on the banks of the Wenatchee River and covers two-and-a-half acres of private land. This is a log home crafted from hand-hewn Ponderosa Pine salvaged from the Yellowstone fires of 1988 and based on the floor plans of the historic Jefferds Tavern of York, Maine, erected in 1750. Shop Tiny Homes On the first floor, you'll find a large and open living space with a large flat-screen TV, comfortable furniture, and a stacked-stone wood-burning fireplace with two entries (one for wood fires, the other for cooking, with a pot-crane and cooking vessels). To the side, you'll find a laundry room and a bathroom with a step-in shower.
Keep moving and you'll find a small sitting area beneath high vaulted ceilings and the full kitchen nestled under a loft.
The family chef will love playing around with the stainless steel appliances (especially the indoor grill), the gadgets, and ample counter space when making home-cooked meals, and the dining table sits up to eight guests for those elegant dinner parties. There is also a sliding glass door that leads out to the deck where you can enjoy your first cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of evening wine. The upstairs main bedroom features a king-size bed, vaulted ceilings, a wood-burning stove, and an en suite bathroom with vaulted ceilings and skylights. A second upstairs bedroom has two sets of twin bunks, vaulted ceilings, and plenty of room to move around. To the side, the loft area has a toddler-size table and chairs, games, puzzles, and seating. Guests to the lodge will have access to the main cabin and the river.
If you visit during the summer months you can throw your tubes into the waters of Lake Wenatchee State Park and float the river back to the private sandy beach approximately 200 feet in front of the log home.
You'll find Just Plain Grocery and Gas less than five miles south and Midway Village and Grocery just over 10 miles north for all your essential refrigerator and pantry staples. The log cabin has free wifi, a full kitchen with a dishwasher, a firepit, and Netflix streaming (with guest accounts). You'll want to note that a 4 by 4 is required to reach this log home in the winter. The cabin has age-appropriate books and toys and a Pack-N-Play) available for younger guests.
