The views from the treehouse are beautiful and make for a time to unplug and unwind. The treehouse has a small kitchen with a stove and no oven, the kitchen is perfect for making meals or snacks that you can enjoy out on the porch swing. The treehouse has a gas grill and a hot tub located on the deck or you can enjoy the ambiance of the all-season fireplace. You might have the opportunity to see the occasional deer and turkey that call these woods home. Or you might take a stroll along the crystal clear creek, wading and enjoying the surrounding beauty. Children under 16 and pets are not allowed to stay in the Mountain Air treehouses. You'll want to respect the no-pet rule due to severe allergies. This is strictly enforced. Another thing to note is that the treehouse vacation rentals are meant to be a quiet retreat for 1 to 2 people only. There is a steep gravel road that leads up to the treehouse cabin building. The owners 80 something-year-old mother makes the road up easily in her minivan but the owners mention it in case it makes a difference in the vehicle that you choose to travel in. Also, they are expanding. Starting in September 2019, there may be some construction noise during the day fro 9 am to 3 pm). Construction should be completed by mid-November.

There are several trails in the immediate area around the treehouses. Downtown Hot Springs National Park is about 5 to 7 minutes over the mountain, Magic Springs Theme Park is around 7 miles, Oaklawn Racing just up the road, and the Lake Ouachita is around 15 miles away. You can also get around using Uber or a taxi.
