There is a picnic table that is not covered and a gas grill in a covered area available for your use.

Adventurous Outdoor Experiences

The 20-acre property that the treehouse sits has trails all over which wind through the beautiful trees. There are springs on the vacation property, several of which feed into a one-acre pond on the property. The pond has a small island, where you can use kayaks and a zip line for adventurous guests that want to jump and enjoy the experience. The pond is great for swimming and is stocked with trout (feeding, but no fishing), and it's fun to paddle around in. There is a garden in the summer and a rowboat too.

Variety of Activities for Guests

Some of the outdoor activities you can enjoy (depending on weather) can include disc golf, hiking around on the trails, a pendulum swing, carpet-ball, horseshoes, and basketball. Additionally, there is a Sweet Mountain Guest Cottage which is also listed with Airbnb on the property. For the treehouse vacation rental, the most important thing is that you have a sense of adventure and be ready to rough it a bit during your vacation stays, that means that there is no hot water and an outdoor shower (not available when temps are below 40 degrees), but beyond that the treehouse is perfect.
