Metal Barn Style Home With a Great Front Porch for $12,000 to 20,000

Inside, the home has 800 square feet making it just big enough for a couple or even a small family. On the exterior, the home is 28 feet by 40 feet by 8 feet and is constructed using a conventional stick frame.

The porch is covered and measures 6 feet by 28 feet. All of the exterior steel used on the walls and the rood is McElroy 29 gauge Max Rib with Kynar 500 paint and a 40-year non-prorated warranty. Everything is put together using Woodgrip fasteners, and they used the same metal for all of the joineries. The barn cottages include the white vinyl windows with horizontal sliding openings, but other colors of windows are available. The walls are insulated using R-19 batt insulation with a 4mm poly vapor barrier, and the ceiling is insulated using R-40 blown fiberglass insulation a vapor barrier as well. Inside the ceilings are nice and open creating height within the home in the living area. The kitchen comes with all of the cabinetry and countertops installed as well as the bathroom cabinetry installed too. The common area includes the living room, dining area and the L-shaped kitchen in the corner, but that configuration can be changed to suit the customer's preferences. The grilling porch is off of the common area making it easy to transport the meat and food out onto the porch.

Then the bedrooms are on the other side of the living area with two bedrooms the same size and a bathroom across the hall.

There's also the mechanical room and a scent containment room for storing outdoor gear. This could be a great little cabin for anyone wanting a vacation home or to build as a tiny house to live in full time.
