Inside the log cabin building, you will enjoy luxuriously appointed interiors including two bedrooms, both can be made up with two single beds or zipped together to make huge super king doubles. The cabin is perfect for groups of friends, families, or as a romantic escape for two. One bedroom is on the ground floor with private access to the sumptuous shower room. The second bedroom is on a mezzanine floor above the living area where spectacular views of the Eildon Hills are never far away thanks to the high-level windows in the beautiful vaulted ceiling.

Downstairs you'll find the open plan living room, where there is a fully equipped kitchen and a comfy dining and sitting area, kept cozy by a wood-burning stove and underfloor heating to keep toes warm in the winter months. The log cabin is centrally located in the Scottish Borders making it perfect for exploring the whole region. It’s ideal for a day trip to Edinburgh which is just under an hour away on the scenic Borders Railway.

The log cabin is in the perfect location with stunning views and an enclosed garden. For the environmentally friendly guests, you'll appreciate the central heating which is provided by the cabins eco-friendly air source heat pump using electricity from renewable sources only. Firewood for the wood-burning stove and hot tub comes from sustainable sources, currently the surrounding woods. The grass turf roof minimizes the visual impact on the landscape and helps local wildlife. The carbon footprint of the log cabin build was kept to a minimum by using timber logs sourced from local trees and a local log builder.
