You'll have access to a great river spot so you'll want to bring camp chairs or a hammock. There's also a big rock down at the river that is perfect to fish on. You'll want to note that the tiny house vacation rental does not allow children or pets.
The tiny house is located on two acres, sharing that acreage with another house.
There is a privacy fence between the two. There is a neighborhood behind the tiny house. But the owners have tried their best to make the vacation rental feel secluded with curtains on the deck, a privacy fence, and facing the river. The tiny house doesn't have an iron, but there is a hand steamer. There is also a grill, a two-burner stove, along with several pots and pans. The tiny house vacation stay also has roasting sticks so you can make smore's/hotdog's on the fire.
There is plenty to see and do in Maryville, from taking a cool dip in the river on a warm summer day or meandering down a snowy hiking trail.

The Maryville College Woods Hiking Trails, are well-traveled by community members of all ages. While the trails are short and at times close to the road, they are very scenic and offer a great option close to town. The trails are also popular for dog walking. The Greenback Hiking Trails offer several different trails with a variety of scenic features like pedestrian bridges and lake views. The trail area is about a 25-minute drive from Maryville center.
The Shadows of the Past Trail in Townsend is a paved walking and biking trail in Townsend, with informative historical markers along the route.
The trail does run parallel to the main parkway, so this attraction is best for families with older kids. The Smoky Mountain Hiking Trails are expansive, however, there are several easy trails, in the Townsend/Walland area, that are just 30 to 40 minutes from Maryville center, including the popular Schoolhouse Gap, and Metcalf Bottoms.
