You'll want to take a look inside this small cottage plan located at Kings Beach, California. The hip and modern cottage can accommodate up to 6 guests with 2 bedrooms, 3 beds, and one bathroom. During your vacation stay, you'll have the entire cabin building to yourself. This recently renovated small cottage plan is located just one block from the lake in Kings Beach with several amenities to include a fire pit, outdoor dining area, and bocce ball court. The owners wanted a place in Tahoe that reflected the fun of San Francisco and Los Angeles so they bought a piece this cinder block bunker and completely refinished it.
The fenced-in yard for the cottage has a great firepit for year-round campfire use, as well as an outdoor dining table, gas barbecue, bocce ball court, and a hammock to use in the summer months. Inside the small cottage plan, you have a flatscreen television in the living room with Apple TV and Roku to play some music or watch your favorite streaming shows to include Hulu, Netflix, HBO, and SlingTV and a Nintendo Wii. There is also a flatscreen television in the queen-sized bedroom. If you are still bored, there are plenty of parlor games to play and in the winter months, there are two toboggans to use at your disposal. The small cottage plan has down pillows, organic cotton bath towels, and a Thermostatic 8-inch rain hood in the shower that helps to recreate your favorite four-star hotel experiences. The interior doors in the cottage are salvage doors from San Francisco Victorians, the coffee is Blue Bottle, the walls are brand new beadboard and the floors are black bamboo.
If you want to go to the lake, the small cottage plan is just one block from the best beach in all of Lake Tahoe. This vacation cottage is a true getaway. During your stay, you will have a house manager and handyman nearby if you need anything, but otherwise, the owners want you to make yourselves at home. Besides being just a block from the lake and downtown Kings Beach, you are only a short drive to Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Squaw, Mt. Rose and the Diamond Peak ski resorts as well as the casinos in Incline Village and Crystal Bay. The small cottage plan is just to step away from shops and restaurants and a 24 hour Safeway is only a two-minute drive.
Pets are welcome at the cottage and the yard is completely fenced in. The owners love their dogs and ask that if you bring your pets to please keep them off the couch, chairs, or beds. There is no pet fee. The small cottage plan has also included the county's 10 percent hotel tax in the overall price. The cozy cabin building has beds for 4, with a maximum occupancy of 6 (6 only works with kids). The couch in the cottage folds down into a full/queen-sized bed, but it is only comfortable for one adult or two children. There is a spacious fenced-in yard for the dogs and a fire pit, barbecue grill, bocce ball court, and outdoor dining area.
