Steel shipping containers are just one of the tiny house building options that you have.
Steel shipping containers are durable building material for your tiny home. You should expect your steel shipping container home to last for at least twenty-five years without having any problems if the shipping container home is properly built. If you maintain the shipping container home and keep on top of any rust that might occur then you can expect your shipping container home to last even longer. Shipping container homes are typically cheaper to build than conventional styles of homes. Shipping container home designs are just as comfortable, cost-effective, or appealing than conventional styles of homes.
The durability and the toughness of steel shipping containers are generally considered to be over-spec when they are turned into home designs.
What this means is that steel shipping containers are more than strong enough to be used as shipping container home designs, especially when they are compared to other eco-building materials such as recycled plastics or straw bales.
