Craftsman Cottage Houseboat Asks $425k on Lake Union

Charming Craftsman Houseboat Overview

There is so much to love about this craftsman style houseboat located in Seattle, Washington. This gorgeous floating tiny house is located just off Westlake Avenue, and has the best of both worlds, with its tiny house design and it's a houseboat too. The charming small cottage plan was built in 2010, this tiny house is significantly larger than a lot of houseboats that you'll find, but it's still relatively small at 728 square feet but has all the comforts of home to include a kitchen, living room, and room to sleep at least four people. One of the biggest drawbacks is that it's not docked at a liveaboard slip, so it has to be used as a vacation getaway, not as a full-time home design. But the small cottage home is built with a beachy aesthetic, with large windows and spacious waterside porches.

Cozy Living Spaces with Modern Touches

The small cottage plan has a cozy living area that feels bigger than it is thanks to the vaulted, cathedral ceiling, and stays cozy with the propane fireplace which heats the tiny home. Above the living room, there is a loft that provides a space for spare beds, or a cozy library or another nook. If you want more privacy, the master bedroom has a built-in queen Murphy bed along with plenty of built-in storage, to include shelves and a bureau, and the room opens up to a small outdoor deck. The spacious loft is great for the kids or when you have guests come to stay.

Perfect Vacation Getaway

Fabulous vacation houseboat (not a full-time liveaboard) with stellar views, contemporary design, and comfortable living areas. Enjoy an evening on Lake Union, with difficult choices. Do I look at the fireplace or the water? Shall we eat inside by the fire or outside on the deck? Maybe just skip dinner and go for a kayak ride around the lake? Built-in queen Murphy bed. Extra loft for sleeping/storage. Comes fully furnished, incl kayak & paddleboard.

Eco-Friendly Floating Home Experience

The Eco Sea Cottage is the perfect floating vacation getaway for weekend use or weeklong adventures on the water. This floating home design is eco-friendly and beautifully designed to provide the ultimate in comfort and convenience in an amazing slip with scenic views. You can watch the Duck Dodge the Lake Union Sail Boat regatta which is held every Tuesday evening during the summer months. From your houseboat, you can watch the geese waddle by and the standup paddleboarders in the lake. Enjoy watching the classic boats and seaplanes, and Lake Union Living right at your front door. The covered front deck extends your time to outdoor enjoyment. Imagine yourself in this water-based vacation getaway as your perfect retreat.
