Zukey Lake Tavern is less than a 1/2 mile walking distance, the Lakeland Trail is also right around the corner which is great for biking and running. The owners have tried to keep the design authentic with some updates as well. A new second bathroom was added and some remodeling of the kitchen was done in April 2022.
The dock at the cottage is seasonal and is usually in the water from May until October. Sometimes they can put the dock in the water in April. It depends on the lovely Michigan weather. You'll want to inquire before booking if you need to know. The dock is in place for your relaxation pleasure, at this time, the property does not allow boats to be parked at this dock. No rentals are available on this lake either. For those not familiar with lake living, homes are within proximity of each other. The owners are hoping for guests who are looking for a peaceful retreat and to enjoy some quiet couple/family time.
