During your vacation stay, you'll be surrounded by wildlife on a working permaculture-focussed farm, on the banks of the Sturt River away from the noise of the city and in one of the state's top wine-producing regions. Not to mention, you'll enjoy this isolated spot to keep your distance from the world outside for a few days. The Adelaide Hills may be one of the most picturesque destinations in Australia, and this fully self-contained cabin building is an excellent way to experience this part of the world.

A Perfect Retreat for Couples

Today, the cabin building sits snugly just meters away from the banks of the Sturt River and is a perfect retreat for couples or anyone who is looking for a little escape from the world. Whether you are looking for a cozy base from which to explore the Adelaide hills, or you just want to get a taste of life in this beautiful part of the world, a few nights in this tiny cabin building might be just the answer.

Eco-Friendly Farm Experience

The property is a working hobby farm, where the owners keep chickens and ducks, and occasionally, sheep, goats, or alpacas. They keep bees and they grow a lot of their food. They follow many of the principles of permaculture, and the functional aspects of regenerative agriculture can often override the beauty of manicured lawns and weed-free gardens - though they do try our best. The cabin building also has a small footprint, to keep things functional and cozy (not cramped) the toilet and the shower facility are just outside the door and across the deck, and due to the proximity to the waterway, a compost/chemical toilet was the most eco-friendly option.
