The Boat House cabin building at Pengelly Retreat is an architect-designed, fully insulated, log cabin clad in larch wood, with stunning views and a balcony that overlooks the wild swimming lake. Inside the log cabin building are stylish bedroom and living areas, an ensuite shower room, underfloor heating, and a log burner. The Boat House cabin building at Pengelly Retreat is architecturally-designed in prime position looking straight down the largest lake with gorgeous sunrise and sunset views.

In this lovely natural setting, you have plenty of space around you along with your own huge private deck area, part of which is cantilevered over the lake itself.

Inside the Boat House cabin building, you will find an open-plan living space that is decorated in neutral scandi tones and colors, complete with a sitting area, log burner, and a fully equipped kitchen area with a microwave oven complete with oven/grill functions and a double electric hob.

The windows in the cabin building allow light to flood in and, weather permitting, you can throw open the french doors to the veranda. You can walk through the open doorway into your bedroom space at the rear of the house with its plush double bed.

In addition to the log burner, there is underfloor heating that ensures the Boat House cabin building stays cozy throughout the season.

And there’s hot water on demand at the log cabin for a hot shower after a swim in the lake or a day spent surfing at one of the nearby beaches. Outside there’s a sun deck complete with loungers, chairs, and table to one side of the house. Down a set of wooden stairs, you’ll find your private garden area with fire pit, table, and chairs that overlook the lake.
