The vacation property has secured, gated access, new full-size appliances, mini split heat, air conditioning, Starlink Internet, a wrap-around porch, and tons of wildlife. The cabin sits on 18 fully-fenced wooded acres with a pond, running creek, and abundant wildlife.

You’ll regularly see ducks, woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, guinea hens, a blue heron we call George, deer, squirrels, rabbits, armadillos, frogs, and even a family of beavers. The pond has 2 very large carp, 5 catfish, and numerous perch that love to be hand fed. The owners will even provide you with some healthy food for them–just no fishing, please.

The cabin exterior features a wrap-around porch, metal roof, and parking for 2 cars.

You'll want to note that there are three steps to enter the cabin. The cabin has a Weber grill, grill accessories, charcoal, and lighter fluid are included unless Grimes County has a burn ban in effect. If a burn ban is in effect, no fires of any kind are allowed anywhere on the property. Inside, you’ll find a rustic pine interior and corrugated metal ceiling throughout. Brand new mini-split air conditioning/heat units in both the living room and bedroom were recently installed. High-speed internet/wifi is provided by Starlink (SpaceX) with speeds up to 75Mb bandwidth (unheard of speeds in the country).

The living area features a small sofa and chair, 4k TV, Roku (with guest access to enter your own Netflix/Hulu/Disney plus accounts), and surround sound.

The cabin has a fold-away, wall-mounted butcher block table that is perfect as both a dining table and a dedicated desk/workspace. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range/oven and a full-size refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee with assorted coffees, an aluminum stove top espresso/coffee maker, french press, coffee grinder, and an electric tea kettle. Creamer and sweetener are provided. The kitchen also has everything you’ll need to bake, cook and serve a full meal (except the food), including mixing bowls, measuring cups/spoons, utensils, knives, pots/pans, olive oil and salt/pepper, and assorted spices. A complete set of coffee cups, plates, bowls, glasses, wine glasses, and silverware are also included.
