The Blue Ridge Parkway cuts right through this area and you are just minutes away from several of its entrances.

From the hand-hewn solid oak log walls to the tobacco stick handrails, this is a vacation getaway that will make you want to stay and not leave. All of the woodwork and trim in the house is reclaimed mostly from barns that were built 100 plus years ago by the owner's great grandfather and have been reused into what you will see in this one-of-a-kind cabin. The flooring on the main level is reclaimed antique heart of pine flooring as well as the hand-hewn weathered beams in the ceiling. Open up the reclaimed Chestnut barn doors into the bedroom and have the whole house to yourself or bring friends and enjoy everything that this area has to offer.
Fishing in this area is a big attraction so you'll want to bring along your fishing poles and get lost in the beauty of the western North Carolina mountains.
Just walk down through the front yard and be fishing within minutes of your arrival, or enjoy a nature walk. This cabin building offers two bedrooms with queen-size beds and pillow-top mattresses, and a couch pullout full-size bed. The cabin has two bathrooms, one with a tub shower unit and one custom tile shower with river stone accents harvested from the river on the property. The kitchen has almost everything for almost all of your cooking needs. Downstairs you have a recreation room with a pool table, a minibar, a native stone fireplace with gas logs, and a TV. There are four TVs, one in each bedroom, one in the main living room, and one in the bar/rec room. The cabin has Direct TV and internet which are provided as well.
