This unique shipping container home started as a 40-foot steel shipping container.
The owners insulated and paneled the interior of the tiny house design in pine shiplap and trimmed it out in 100 plus year-old Barnwood that gives this tiny house plenty of character. The outside of the shipping container home is clad with cedar siding with enough spacing to allow the original steel shipping container to still be seen. There is also a rooftop deck that is surrounded by a custom cable railing system that is lit with LED lights underneath the rail that gives the outdoor deck a beautiful glow at night. There are LED lights inside and a super-quiet, efficient mini-split air conditioning unit that makes this a comfortable, energy-efficient tiny house design.
