Hood, Oregon. The magical treehouse vacation rental can accommodate up to 4 guests with 3 beds, and a half bathroom. During your vacation stay, you'll have the entire treehouse vacation rental to yourself. Shop Tiny Homes This treehouse vacation rental is glamping at its' best. The treehouse is 16 feet by 16 feet suspended between three large fir trees, with a queen-sized bed, a loft with two twin beds, a composting toilet, and so much more. The cozy treehouse is situated on 20 acres of property with a pond. The tiny cabin building has a heater, microwave, mini-fridge, and a coffee pot. You'll want to note that this vacation rental is a true treehouse and to get to the vacation rental you will need to go up a spiral staircase which may not be for everyone, because of this you will want to pack small bags or packs as large suitcases are not appropriate.
The treehouse vacation rental sits on a 20-acre property at the base of Mt.
Hood which is about an hour east of downtown Portland, a great city to explore. The cabin building is about 30 minutes west of Ski Bowl and the Mt. Hood National Forrest. The treehouse vacation rental is within 30 to 60 minutes of three Mt. Hood Ski areas. You will ascend a unique spiral staircase to get up to the treehouse. The treehouse cabin building is approximately 200 square feet, with an 8 foot by 10-foot sleeping loft. The main floor of the treehouse has a queen bed, a bistro table, reading chair, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, composting toilet, and a cold water sink. There is a seating area that is below the treehouse, so you can sit by a fire and enjoy the outdoors even if it is raining outside (which is especially good in Oregon). There is a picnic table that is not covered and a gas grill in a covered area available for your use.
The 20-acre property that the treehouse sits has trails all over which wind through the beautiful trees.
There are springs on the vacation property, several of which feed into a one-acre pond on the property. The pond has a small island, where you can use kayaks and a zip line for adventurous guests that want to jump and enjoy the experience. The pond is great for swimming and is stocked with trout (feeding, but no fishing), and it's fun to paddle around in. There is a garden in the summer and a rowboat too.
Some of the outdoor activities you can enjoy (depending on weather) can include disc golf, hiking around on the trails, a pendulum swing, carpet-ball, horseshoes, and basketball.
Additionally, there is a Sweet Mountain Guest Cottage which is also listed with Airbnb on the property. For the treehouse vacation rental, the most important thing is that you have a sense of adventure and be ready to rough it a bit during your vacation stays, that means that there is no hot water and an outdoor shower (not available when temps are below 40 degrees), but beyond that the treehouse is perfect.
