The Rise of Tiny House Designs

These days it seems that tiny house designs are popping up everywhere. Whether it be a small cottage home, tiny house on wheels, or a wood cabin, small house living is here to say. Each tiny house design is unique and offers a variety of benefits to its owners. Just because a tiny house design is limited in space doesn't mean it will look the same as its neighbors. The best part about small house living is in the benefits they can offer its owners.

Advantages of Tiny Houses on Wheels

There are several benefits of a tiny house on wheels. First on the list would probably be easy mobility. If you live in a tiny house on wheels, you have the benefit of taking the tiny house with you. A tiny house on wheels offers you the ability to just hitch the home up to a truck and drive it to a new location. Whether you are trying to move to a new piece of property or just go on vacation without having to pack up all your suitcases, having a tiny house on wheels makes it easier to visit new places.

Diverse Construction Methods for Tiny Houses

Tiny house designs are built in a variety of ways. Some are equipped with solar panels and rainwater collection which make it easy to go off-grid and park just about anywhere that you want. Other tiny houses on wheels are built more traditionally, needing both power and water hookups. These tiny house designs are better suited to private plots of land or RV/mobile home parking. No matter the tiny house on wheels you choose, its potential mobility is a huge benefit.

Cost Savings with Tiny House Living

Another benefit of tiny houses are the money you will save. It's no secret that a tiny house is less expensive to build than a traditional-sized house. If you have the time and the skills to design and build your tiny house yourself, you can save on labor and only spend your money on building materials. There are tiny house designers who will create and build your tiny house design for you, but that will cost more as you're paying for building materials and labor and the company's overhead. That said, tiny houses are just a fraction of the price of traditional-sized homes, and you can have everything designed specifically for you and your needs. The lower price also means that you can potentially pay cash for your tiny house if you've saved up enough. If you can't pay cash, the loan payments for a tiny house will be much smaller than a traditional-sized mortgage.
