The kitchen area, the living room and dining area are all located in the same vicinity on the main floor of this home design. They are all surrounded by the great windows which offer tons of natural light to brighten up the entire home. The living room would be the perfect place for a nice fireplace in the corner as this model shows with its stunning stone fireplace tucked into the corner of the living room area. In total, the Lancaster floor plan has 2,160 square feet of space with the master bedroom on the main floor as well as the other living spaces. There's also access to a covered deck and larger open deck as well which would be the perfect place for a BBQ or even a hot tub. Upstairs there are two more bedrooms, as well as a loft that opens up to the living area below.

Affordable Log Home Packages

The prices for just the log package only starts at around $88,100 and then goes all the way up to $187,450 for a complete log home package which would include all of the materials needed to build the entire log home. This log home is in their Craftsman Series of log house packages which is considered the premier series of log house packages and they are very popular for customers who want the traditional log home style with a modern appeal. All of the prefab log home kits from Coventry Log Homes are built in their factory which is fully covered and safe from the elements like rain and snow. Since the home is built in such a secure environment, they are able to build the homes faster since they're not contending with the weather. Coventry Log Homes builds all of their log homes in the factory, pre-cutting each of the pieces needed to build the home. Then the parts are disassembled and labelled, packaged and shipped out to the customers' land to be rebuilt. Many people hire on contractors to rebuild the log homes for them, while others may try out building the log home packages themselves. Usually that's a great idea with the smaller log home packages, but usually larger log homes will require cranes to do the heavy lifting.

A Variety of Log Home Designs

Besides the Lancester log home design, Coventry Log Homes has many other log houses to choose from and five series of log home designs. The Craftsman Series of log home designs tends to be the most popular with their customers, but they also have a Recreational series full of log cabins perfect for the lake or in the woods. These log cabins are designed specifically for recreational use though so they wouldn't be able to be used as a full-time residence in most cases without some significant upgrades. They also have a line of Tradesman style log home designs which are a more affordable option for log home packages. Plus, they also offer Timber Frame houses and buildings as well. So there are plenty of different options to choose from depending on what you want and need in your log home design and build.
